PERSONAL MAKEUP LESSONS
LEARN YOUR MAKEUP—NOT SOMEONE ELSE’S
Social media can show you hundreds of products, techniques and “must-have” recommendations before you have even finished your morning coffee. But those products are being applied to someone else’s face—with someone else’s features, coloring, skin, personal style and level of experience. Often, they are also being demonstrated under professional lighting, through filters or as part of a paid brand partnership.
You purchase what looked beautiful on the screen, try to follow the technique and wonder why you cannot achieve the same result.
The product may not be right for you. The brush may not be designed for what you are trying to do. The placement may not complement your features. The tutorial may move too quickly to explain the pressure, movement, amount of product or blending that actually created the finished look.
That does not mean you are bad at makeup. It means the advice was never personalized to you.
A personal makeup lesson gives you something a screen, a product description or a quick visit to a beauty counter cannot: personal instruction from a professional artist who can watch what you are doing, explain why something is or is not working and help you make adjustments in real time.
THIS IS PERSONAL MAKEUP EDUCATION
This is not a retail appointment, and I am not here to sell you a particular brand. There are no sales goals, quotas or product collections I need to convince you to purchase.
My focus is helping you recreate the makeup looks you actually want to achieve using the right products, brushes and techniques for your face, comfort level, routine and lifestyle.
With 27 years of professional artistry experience, I have worked with every age, skin tone, face shape, eye shape and level of makeup experience. I know how to take the inspiration you bring me and translate it into something that makes sense for you—not only in the finished look, but in the way you will realistically apply it yourself.
There is no ideal age to learn, and there is no expectation that you should already know what you are doing. Whether you are building your first intentional makeup routine, trying to understand why your current products are not working or ready to finally learn techniques you can use with confidence, your lesson begins exactly where you are.
The goal is not to make you look like someone else or completely change the way you see yourself. It is to help you feel like the best version of yourself—and understand how to create that feeling again.
YOU WILL ACTUALLY LEARN HOW TO RECREATE THE LOOK
This is not an appointment where you simply watch me apply your makeup and are then expected to figure out how to reproduce it on your own.
I demonstrate each technique on one side of your face. You recreate it on the other side while I guide your product placement, brush selection, pressure, movement and blending. We can stop, correct, try something differently and practice until the technique makes sense in your hands—not only when I perform it.
You are encouraged to ask questions throughout the experience. If something feels awkward, looks different than you expected or does not fit the way you prefer to wear your makeup, we adjust it together.
A video can show you what worked for the person on the screen. It cannot watch the way you hold your brush, identify why your blending is not creating the result you want or change the technique to better complement your features. That personal observation and correction are what turn a makeup application into an education.
AN INVESTMENT YOU CONTINUE USING
The value of your personal lesson extends far beyond the appointment itself.
Understanding what works for you allows you to make more informed product choices instead of repeatedly spending money on items that do not suit your needs, your preferences or the looks you are trying to create. You learn how your products, tools and techniques work together—and which additions to your collection would make a meaningful difference.
These are skills you can use for everyday life, work, travel, photographs, dates, celebrations, weddings and special events. You can continue applying what you learn as your preferences, features and personal makeup style change.
Instead of depending on every new trend, sales recommendation or online tutorial, you begin to understand what works for you and why it works.
You carry that knowledge with you every time you do your makeup. The more you use it, the more valuable your investment becomes.
THE PERSONAL MAKEUP LESSON
Starting at $650
Created as a three-hour one-on-one experience, this lesson gives us the time to develop one complete makeup look around what you want to achieve—and teach you how to recreate it with confidence.
You may bring inspiration photographs, questions about techniques you have struggled with and the products or brushes you currently own. We will use what is appropriate from your collection while also giving you access to products, brushes and tools from my professional artistry kit when another option would better support the look.
I will demonstrate each step on one side of your face before guiding you as you complete the other. This allows you to see the technique, feel the difference and receive immediate corrections while we work.
Your personal lesson includes:
A three-hour one-on-one appointment
One complete, personalized makeup look
Step-by-step professional instruction
The half-face demonstration and guided-practice method
Guidance on product amounts, placement, pressure and blending
Brush selection and instruction
Review of the makeup products and tools relevant to your lesson
Use of products, brushes and tools from my professional artistry kit throughout your lesson
Personalized documentation of the products used and recommendations discussed
THE TWO-LOOK MAKEUP INTENSIVE
Starting at $950
For the client who wants a more comprehensive experience, this five-hour one-on-one lesson provides the time to create, practice and fully understand two distinct makeup looks or carefully developed variations.
We may begin with an everyday look and build it into something more elevated or camera-ready, showing you how thoughtful changes in product, placement, color and intensity can transform the finished result without requiring an entirely different makeup collection.
Approximately four and a half hours are devoted to instruction, with a scheduled 30-minute break during the appointment. The additional time allows us to work carefully through both looks, compare techniques and practice the transitions that will help you adapt your makeup for different occasions.
